Unlike practices that divide their clinical work among psychotherapy, counseling, and assessment, our focus is singular: providing individualized evaluations that address complex diagnostic, developmental, and educational questions.
Each assessment is tailored to the referral question rather than built around a predetermined battery of tests. Those questions guide the assessment process, the information gathered, the measures selected, and the recommendations provided. Clinical interview, developmental history, standardized assessment, behavioral observation, educational records, medical information, and collaboration with other professionals are integrated to develop a comprehensive understanding of each child.
From the initial consultation through the final feedback conference, families are supported through each stage of the evaluation process with clear communication, clinical expertise, and individualized attention. The result is not simply a diagnosis, but a nuanced clinical formulation that explains how a child learns, processes information, adapts to challenges, and experiences the world. That understanding becomes the foundation for informed decisions, effective interventions, and thoughtful planning throughout childhood and adolescence.
