Dr. Harris and Dr. Mulchay founded CNT to offer Charlotte families and providers specialized clinical expertise in neuropsychological evaluations for complex developmental, learning, and diagnostic questions.
Dr. Harris is a Harvard-trained child psychologist and a Charlotte native. She has worked alongside developmental-behavioral pediatricians to assess for autism, ADHD, learning disorders, and more. Dr. Harris specializes in evaluating toddlers, children, and adolescents with complex neurodevelopmental and medical profiles.
Our clinical approach focuses on identifying neuropsychological areas of strength and vulnerability. We seek to understand the relationship between brain development, cognition, learning, behavior, and the environments in which children grow. The purpose of an evaluations is not simply to identify whether a child meets criteria for a diagnosis. The purpose is to understand the whole profile—to clarify why challenges are occurring and to identify meaningful next steps.
